The competition called for a design solution to possible interior and exterior renovations to the County Theater in Doylestown, Pennsylvania. The theater was designed in the glamorous Art Deco Style of the 1930s. The design entry acknowledged the existing theater aesthetically, by the use of Art Deco inspired aesthetic motifs. CCAA strove for a simple and efficient tectonic ensemble of contemporary building materials and systems.
