The project is located in provincial Bulgaria, in the historic town of Vratsa. It represents a small garden retreat and tool shed. The Client wanted a small and useful, yet artistic structure for their newly established garden. The exterior design is inspired by the architectural vernacular of the Balkans. Built on difficult clay soils with locally available labor and materials, the structure required special attention to design and execution. The retreat was completed on time and budget.
